A child’s Philosophy is Truth

Have you guys noticed the change in intelligence among children these days, some of them say such profound words.

I recently heard of a really inspiring story of a girl whom is younger than 10, her parents had ordered supper, that had a variety of seafood, so the little girl picked up a prawn and asked her mum what is this and mum responded ” its a prawn”  responding to her mother, the child asked “where does it come from” and her mum said from the sea, its seafood. This little confusion caused a dilemma in the child’s mind.

She started to think and then said  “but it has been killed, why did it have to die…”, and started to cry, in an emotional frantic situation she refused to eat meat again.

It is easier for children to understand this, for all of them with their clean innocent hearts can connect directly to animals whom are the purest form of unconditional love.  An animal will kill to just to eat, have you seen animals killing for fun, does a cow change its diet ? will a cow get bored grass ? will a fish look for food on land ?
it’s the way you allow your mind to think, that makes you think that you could get bored with vegetables. we should eat to live and not live to eat.

This is a true story, it is my cousin’s daughter…… I am most proud to know the child.

May Peace be granted to all.

Flora or Fauna whos Frown is Flawed

It is the Question of Questions are we (vegan/vegetarian) causing harm and inflecting pain on plants whilst saying that vegan / vegetarian is a peaceful life style ?

1.How do we define eating an apple to as opposed to a cow ?
For most converted meat-eater, they have come to the understanding that animals feel pain, and need not eat meat to survive. Some vegetarians are a spiritually advanced in believing that meat-eating is wrong, very common among the Hindu religion. Personally my understandings is fond of the quote “food is grown and not born”.

2.Why is an apple called an apple and a cow called beef ?
I think its more simpler to change the name of dead animals and call it something else as it becomes less of a physiological impact on us as humans when eating, example “hey let’s go eat a cow for supper” , or “hey let’s have steak for supper” which sound easy to hear ? further we have defined animals in terms of size and importance, for instances the chicken is still called a chicken after is has been developed for food, did you know that chickens are now regarded as nothing more that just food, or egg production and that’s it.

3.Can edible Flora feel pain ?
I know that you need a nervous system to feel, which is absent in plant life, although I do believe that Plants have life hence the growing, and also do believe that everything serves a purpose in the world, hence the purpose of an apple ?
if not food then what ?. If I cut of an apple from the tree will the tree cry in sadness that I have stolen its child ?
if I take a calf from its mother will the mother cry for her child ? will the calf cry for its mother ?

4.Can the Fauna feel pain ?
because of the nervous system in animals we can derive that animals do in-fact feel pain, apart from experiencing loss, suffering and some even fall in to depression. If you were meant to be free, your inner self craves the green grass on your feet, you long for the shine of the sun or the mud from the sand and rain, but you have been confined to concrete floors in an over crowed jail cell waiting for the call, will you not be depressed ? I for sure would be

5.Of which the flora or fauna can we see the pain or identify with the actions caused out of believing that animals are in fact here on earth to satisfy our Human taste ?
If we as humans are created to eat meat then, we should be able to run after a chicken, sheep or a cow pounce on the animal and start ripping of the animals skin and enjoy the catch as food. It should come natural to you and not enhanced.

Animals Kill For Need, Humans Kill For Greed.

The Trusting LadyB on Her Mobile Throne

At about 4 in the afternoon I was on my way home, walking out  of the building I work in, I noticed something flapping in a distress motion, so thankful to my awareness and my curiosity I was welcomed to a delicate butterfly in the corner of the building’s entrance, attempting to be stable or catch its flight from the cold stone floor, however the amazing beauty whom I shall call      Lady B  was missing a leg, so I offered my hand to the little miss Lady B and to my surprise  she hopped on and closed her wings finding her balance on my tilting index finger.

So on her Mobile throne the little Majesty kept her balance,  as I walked out of the building into the open, under the glorious shinning sun, I felt that the wind would have been to strong for the Lady B and quickly moved my hand close to my chest and with my Right hand covering her gentle body.

Now  finding myself as her guarding and not knowing what to do or how not change too much of her surroundings whilst walking to my uncle’s car I passed a bed of green grass with little yellow flowers on man-made bank.  ah! I thought to myself this place looks almost fairytale, so I leaped on the bank moved close to the flowers and offered my hand as a step to one of the long blades of grass.

Her Majesty the Lady B hopped off her throne and caught hold of the green grass, as I was leaving and biding her farewell she flapped open her wings and allowed me to see her beauty. She was decorated with black strokes of waves as to resemble the priceless intricate carvings on the Taj Mahal on a splash of soft yellow. Looking back once more and in an awe feeling of being gifted this rare privilege of playing mobile throne I prayed for her walked away leaving her in the care of nature.

You must be wondering why am I telling you all this, and thinking am I wasting my time reading this ? Firstly this story is not about me it is about the butterfly whom needed help in the smallest way possible, and put her trust in some being (me).
Secondly you are not wasting your time, I think it possible and the right choice to be aware and alert of the surrounding we inhabit for it costs nothing to be kind to nature.

Thirdly keep in mind peacefully these powerful quotes…

“Be still like a mountain and flow like a great river.” Lao-Tse (604-531 BCE)
“Non-violence leads to the highest ethics, which is the goal of all evolution. Until we stop harming all other living beings, we are still savages.”
Thomas Edison

Peace is the only way ….

Moments of Slience

Critic of hypocrite
Stand before thee all mighty
In golden silence

Dropped heads down
Still and calm
In moments of silence

“For the sick we seek you
For the hungry we beseech you
For peace kneel to you “

Smiles and cheers above
Sadness below
Sightless between

For the blind God
Believed in me
Let me feed him

Cursed my mind is
For after his global mass
The war begins

**forgive my mind dear readers i mean no harm

The Peace War

Eventually we all just want peace, and  then you will ask your self where does it start? Firstly it starts by removing the Ego (I) and Desire (Want) as taught by Sai Baba. Albert Einstein simply explains peace as  “Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.” Hence Peace must be understood from within ones own self, which is really hard, why ? because of our new-found nature which makes it easier for us to just hate or ignore the Truth.

We have been exposed to materials that are used to gain money regardless of the pain or suffering that are experienced in this process, this is the process of  advertising which paints a peaceful happy dinning time just for sales. Once we have been bought off by the happiness that the actor plays we are then Sold, However i feel that we should know where our money is going.

“How come we play war and not peace?”   “Too few role models.”  Bill Wattersons

Example look at this above picture what do you feel ? can you see the peace and joy this incredible animal is experiencing by just looking at a flower ?
Now think what most of us would do, cut the flower, then pull off each petal and then throw away and carry on walking, unaware of what we have just did. Don’t get me wrong i’m not saying  don’t use flowers, but have a purpose for everything you do, try at best not to destroy what we can’t create.

This for me is practicing peace, trying to understanding  each creation in its own living space be it a blossoming flower or the sneaky mosquito. we should be aware of the life that is living beyond us. We are the higher forms of life on earth we should behave like that  emitting Truth, Love, Peace, Non-violence and Right conduct from us for the earth whom we have mistreated blindly.

Recently i had come across some simple truths about Mother Earth, who is the First Mother to hug you ? It is The Mother Earth it is the gravity that holds us, that hugs us, do we ever say thank you to her ? and if so how are we thanking her ? Destroying all her creations and littering on her. Then we wonder why there are so many natural disasters happening around the world, is there anything natural about  the way we have treated her ?

The Peace war, we must fight with our own self to be aware of  this truth  of what we have committed and how will we change for the future, as  The Mahatma Gandhi said we must be the change we want to see in the world. We refer to the earth as mother why ? why do give the earth the female gender why? because it is the female that is able to support life with in her, it is the female that is always forgiving, it is the female that even feeds her new-born form her own nature. Our Mother Earth even feeds us till our last days, she allows our feet on her, she allows us to live on her, we should at least respect her and the animals that she allows to live on her including us humans. If we could hear mother earth what would she tell us? we don’t have to try to hear her, just look at the state of the planet she is already telling us it is too much.

her tears we wipe with our shoes
still she supports us
her beauty we destroy with our actions
still she supports us
her wealth we steal
still she supports us
her friends we destroy
still she supports us
she cry’s in heat
still we forget her

May the creations that Mother Earth  supports find the true Peace to live in Peace with Her.

*collaboration of the food network that is connecting our species in a web of destruction, the destruction of a lie that is creamed iced, covering up the burned cake, so you don’t see the unmeasured ingredients in a holocaust of heat.

*cursed by Gods for the unfortunate acts our species promote blindly, blessed by the evil forces that some of our species believe to have power. The call we mute out, but it breaks like the rays of the sun on a cloudy day.

*power of truth can change any species to see the peaceful eyes, of those who blink to awake from an unchanging scene.

Peace is without doubt within each being.

One makes a Difference

We all have ability. The difference is how we use it.

Stevie Wonder

The following story is not my own, and I’m not sure who wrote it, however after reading it you will……. well I leave that to the reader.

Once upon a time there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his journal writing. He had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work.

One day he was walking along the shore. As he looked down the beach, he saw a human figure moving like a dancer. He smiled to himself to think of someone who would dance to the day. So he began to walk faster to catch up.

As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man and the young man wasn’t dancing, but instead he was reaching down to the shore, picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean.

As he got closer he called out, “Good morning! What are you doing?”

The young man paused, looked up and replied, “Throwing starfish in the ocean.”

“I guess I should have asked, why are you throwing starfish in the ocean?”

“The sun is up, and the tide is going out. And if I don’t throw them in they’ll die.”

“But, young man, don’t you realize that there are miles and miles of beach, and starfish all along it. You can’t possibly make a difference!”

The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves and said, “It made a difference for that one.”

The power is in each human being, the power to help, to save and the power to think about being normal,But what is Normal ? and  how do we define normal ? looking at the world that I see everyday, I pray I am not the normal, for If that is the normal out there then I rather be abnormal.

May peace become an uncontrollable plague.

Hide and seek, but why mum ?

Ruby the rhino, had given birth to a strong son, whom she named nohorn, as time passed nohorn was growing up to be a little nosy rhino. His mum, ruby always would talk about how curious her son was to the other animals, at their daily meet at the waterhole. One day as they where approaching the waterhole, nohorn was looking far ahead into the green land, and asked his mother

mum why are u always hiding me away from my friends?

ruby : oh son its a game called hide and seek, when ever i tell you to hide you must, and then I’ll seek you out.

nohorn : seek ? what is that mum

ruby : nohorn, to seek is when i will count the black stripes on the a zebra, and then come find you, but you must always be still and silent so that i cant find you, so that you will win that game.

nohorn: soo mum if you don’t find me then i win ?but mum what if you don’t ever find me ?

ruby : oh no no, nohorn that’s impossible, i shall always find you. but if you get lost just find Mrs Lowah the Queen lioness, and she will find me as quick as an eagle’s eye.

nohorn: but where will she be mmmmum ?

ruby : you will always find her close to the waterhole.

nohorn: okay mommumy

ruby: nohorn, don’t talk and eat at the same time.

nohorn; ohh mum mum stop scolding meeee.

so as the winter passed, spring sprung up with tall sunflowers amidst thick green grass that attracted all the  different animals, including a tall  funny looking animal, which had only two feet.

It was in the early in the morning when, ruby slowly work up nohorn, and told him to be silent so that he wont wake up the wise owl, who was above them in a tall tree. Ruby told nohorn, “come son lets play hide and seek”  excited to play the game, the little rhino went on to hide between the tall green grass, as his mother pretended to look for a zebra.

while nohorn was inside the tall grass  he heard a loud noise that sounded like a jumping elephant, that scared him and made him cry out for his mum. He walked out of the green grass trembling, calling “moom mum, mummmy where are you”, and then he saw the some of the tall two feet animals. Nohorn was getting scared and sad, he wanted his mummy so he was going to ask the tall two feet  one’s , if they had seen his mum, but as he walked closer and closer, he saw his mum sleeping on the sand, and one of the 2-feet animal was pulling his mum’s white crown. confused nohorn, was getting very scared so he slowed down, as he saw the two feet animals where going away and as soon as they were gone he ran towards his mother.

The horror in his little eye’s was too much for him to understand, he tugged and called his mum, running around her in circles pushing his head on her still body. Poor nohorn, started to tell his mum “mum im here wake up, stop seeking mooom moummm”, pushing her again, with his face saying “please wake up mummy”

Nohorn got tired, and went close to his mum, pushing him self as close to her as possible, slowly falling of to sleep close to his mum.

One of the saddest acts on earth is forceful separation of mother and child, however only when man(2-feet animal) feels this pain he causes on other forms of life will he think beyond money. Daily there are poor baby rhinos orphaned by pouches, whom murder the adult rhinoceroses for their horns.

The world is a joyful place, if you chose to close your eyes.

Peace is always the option.

Wisdom for Compassion

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times;

It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness;

It was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity;

It was the season of light, it was the season of darkness;

It was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair;

We had everything before us, we had nothing before us;

We were all going directly to heaven, we were all going the other way

                                                                                                                          Charles Dickens

Once my wise uncle, Albert, told me that there are three types of living beings in this world. The plant life, The animal life and human life. To survive the plants will take what’s needed from the environment however they can only depend on their surrounding environment. The animals will do the same, however animals will go in search of food and water if needed, and in a disappointing and sad tone he told me that Humans will stay in one environment, set up life, completely destroy the surrounding nature, he will take everything possible from the land till it is left barren and then move away and start this process.

That is exactly what we are doing, there is no balance, we have taken so much it’s really scary, but ignorance closes our eyes. We are also entitled to the gifts of earth, but how does one perceive them. Do we believe that because we are human that everything we desire is for us to take blindly?

The Elephants Tusks, the Rhinos Horns, the Cows Skin, the Rabbits Fur, the Bears Fur, the Sheep Wools,  the trophy heads of Lions, the Zebras Skin, the Snakes Skin, the Crocodiles Skin, the Tricked Fish, the Pigs, the Chickens, the Cows, the Sheep and anything man can get hold of.

What have we done to life? Every type animal (above and many more) has already suffered by humans, now its time for making them nonexistent. Of what uses is an Elephant to us or its Tusk ? if we need  tusks we would have been created with them. There is no need to cause any harm to any life. Taking the skin of  snakes and crocodiles and making it in shoes and handbags is not normal. Have we  lost every ounce of respect ?  will a snake attack you because it has nothing to do?

Leather, softer the texture younger the cow, and most of it comes from India. Is there any need for one to use leather? do we want to relax on misery and suffering? it is not allowed in India to kill or mistreat *Lord Krishna’s cows,

however there are a group of people who perform this task to satisfies the demand. The cows are sold by the locals who are told that they will be kept in farms, the cows are then made to walk  long distances without food or water. They are whipped to walk faster, if they fall their tail are pulled upwards in a fast jerking motion to make them get-up, and if they are tired and in pain, chilli powers is rubbed in their eyes. Ground dry chilies, some of us cannot even eat pungent food, and that poor cow is made to suffer by rubbing the ground chilies in their eyes, to make them walk faster towards even more suffering (earthlings).

The wisdom for compassion has sadly been lost, but hope is everlasting.

peace is always the option.
